The beloved characters from the original television series as well as its spin-off video games and live shows are returning to save Adventure City from the evil Mayor Humdinger, with a new recruit in reality star Kim Kardashian West.

The iconic television personality plays sassy poodle Delores, with other celebrity cameo roles handed out to Ronan Keating, Tom Fletcher and Good Morning Britain presenter Richard Arnold.

Kardashian West has been busy promoting the film across her social media channels, most recently sharing a link to a site where fans can watch the first six minutes for free to help decide whether to see it in cinemas.

PAW Patrol hails from Canada originally but the franchise has become a mammoth hit all over the world, including the UK, where Paramount launched the film a week-and-a-half earlier than in the US.

Read on for everything you need to know about the upcoming PAW Patrol movie, including release date, cast, trailer and latest news.

PAW Patrol movie release date

PAW Patrol: The Movie was released in the UK on 9th August 2021.

For viewers in the US it will be available to watch on streaming service Paramount Plus as well as in the traditional cinema setting from 20th August.

Delores in PAW Patrol movie – who voices her?

In amongst some of the A-list cast additions for the movie version of PAW Patrol is reality TV star, socialite and internet breaker Kim Kardashian West. She is set to play Delores, a poodle that works in an animal shelter.

Whilst she has been a staple on TV screens for well over a decade, Kim has only made a handful of appearances on the big screen, the most notable of which was a small role in parodic Disaster Movie. Her role as Delores will be her first voice acting role.

PAW Patrol movie cast

For PAW Patrol: The Movie, regular cast members such as Iain Armitage who voices Chase and prolific voice actor Ron Pardo as Humdinger will return as do series mainstays Lilly Bartlam, Callum Shoniker and Keegan Hedley. Will Brisbin, Kingsley Marshall and Shayle Simons round out the regular cast.

There have also been a number of A-list additions for the movie including chat show host Jimmy Kimmel as Marty Muckracker, a news anchor. Black-ish stars Yara Shahidi and Marsai Martin also join the cast as Kendra, a scientist and Liberty, a dachshund who is an enthusiastic new recruit to the patrol.

Multi-hyphenate Tyler Perry will also voice a truck driver and comedians Randall Park and Dax Shepard will also star as Butch and Ruben, two security guards.

However, there will also be a few special cameos for the UK and Ireland edition of the film, similar to Gino D'Acampo's brief appearance in Luca. Boyzone singer Ronan Keating, McFly star Tom Fletcher, Good Morning Britain presenter Richard Arnold and reality star Sam Faiers are the perhaps slightly random celebrities who will be lending their voices to the local edition of the animated film.
